You know that post down there....that one....look down.....anyway, it was meant to have a point about losing interest....and well.....I lost interest.
The point is...I have been having a crappy week. Not for any particular reason, but just in general.
I worked on J Boy's invitations for his second birthday party for a good week or so. Photoshop was not being my friend, and my computer was cursing at me for overload. I finally finished...the invites were printed, addressed and ready to go out. This is where the interest losing comes in.... SO they sat on my desk for a while, maybe two weeks or so. My in-laws were over and I thought, hey, I should give them the invite and save a stamp. My mother-in-law opened it, loved the image and then scanned the details. APPARENTLY, the invitations contained the wrong date. Lucky for me, my procrastination and interest problems stopped me from sending them.
Fast forward another week...I decide to sit down and fix them. I open each carefully, cover the date with the correct as painstakingly as possible and seal each one back up as if it was never opened. Done.
Fast forward another few days....something tells me they are not right. I open one...and what do I find...they all contain the wrong time! Now, I'm done. At first I think, screw it...I will just email an invitation and be done with it. As I looked them over I thought about the time I have invested and said, "Wrong, right, ugly or pretty, God damn it YOU will get your freakin' invitation!" I ripped them open without much care, blatantly crossed out the time and scribbled the correct time over top.
So there....they are done....although not perfect.....but who is?
And you know what? Those godforsaken invitations are STILL sitting on my desk!

I have drawer full of addressed and stamped birthday/christmas/thankyou cards. I'm just glad I got my wedding invites out.

Well, at least you didn't put the WRONG NUMBER for the RSVP-- now did you! My wrong number for the RSVP ranks up there for one of my most embarrassing moments in my life. I need to write about this. lolol

You're preaching to the choir on the losing interest thing. I still haven't finished painting the murals in the kid's room. It's been three years since I started.

I have to give you credit. I still have hard-boiled eggs in the fridge waiting to be colored!

So I'm confused now. Will our invitation be arriving by mail or email? :)
